These BBQ pork ribs are so easy to make and you don’t even need to put them on the grill. All you need is an oven, a basting brush and a few ingredients, which are
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees F/150 degrees C
Pat dry the pork ribs using paper towel. Make sure you remove the thin membrane on the underside of the ribs.
Coat the ribs all over generously with the spicy BBQ dry rub. Lightly pat the ribs to make sure the rub sticks.
Wrap the ribs in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or for a few hours. If you don’t have enough time you can skip this step.
When the ribs are ready. Remove the plastic wrap and transfer them to a deep baking tray, underside facing down. I had to cut mine into two because they were too long for my baking tray. Cover tightly with foil paper and place in the oven.
After 2 hours and 30 minutes remove the tray from the oven. If you like your ribs falling off the bone you can leave them in there for another 30-45 minutes. I like mine tender but not falling off the bone. Pump your oven up to 450 degrees F/230 degrees C. Remove the foil paper. Be careful it’s hot. Use a pastry brush or basting brush to generously baste the ribs with BBQ sauce all over the top.
Return the ribs to the oven uncovered for 10 minutes
After 10 minutes baste the ribs again with BBQ sauce and return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
Remove the ribs from the oven. Let them rest for 10-15 minutes before cutting. Enjoy!
Looks good Mama. You need to make this for me!!
